Although a lot of us are excited to say goodbye to 2020, this Christmas season has been something worth remembering. Families have decorated their homes and started watching Christmas movies earlier than ever before, and it was considered socially acceptable! People have decorated their Christmas trees with toilet paper rolls, children have been able to Face Time Santa Clause at the North Pole, and families have been able to spend more quality time with each other, both together, and apart.
This Christmas season has done a great job of reminding us how enduring the human spirit is, and even though 2021 is looming upon us, there is still plenty of time to embrace some of the magical experiences the Christmas Season has to offer, especially in the Lakes Region!
For the next 10 days, we will count down to Christmas by highlighting some of the Christmas attractions that can be safely enjoyed by you and your families.
Day 10: It's not too late to finish your Christmas Shopping!
Head on over to the Old Country Store in Moultonborough, New Hampshire off of Route 25. Founded in 1781, this store is 239 years old, and contains rooms upon rooms of unique gifts, from the penny candy counter to the local soaps and lotions. From the hilarious New England bumper stickers and apparel, to the pieces of beautiful decor for gardens and the tons of toys for kids! This store has something to offer for everyone.
While you're there, take a quick coffee trip across the street to the Cup and Crumb to get some hot chocolate or one of the yummy bakery items behind the counter! They are currently offering take out!
We hope you enjoy your trip back in time to the Old Country Store, and enjoy a bite along the way the the Cup and Crumb! Stay tuned for day 9 of the countdown tomorrow!
